Lucie Chaumeton was born in France in 1972. She holds an MSc in Finance from LSE and an MA in Comparative Literature from the University of Kent. She worked in the City until 2006, first at BARRA International then at Barclays Global Investors in London where she was responsible for rolling out the Trading Desk's first real time electronic trading system. She now acts as a consultant for a small hedge fund and her experience of the City is definitely central to her writing. Lucie is also a 2013 alumni of the Faber Academy's Writing a Novel course.
She lives in London with her husband and two children, sharing her time between writing, Iyengar yoga and beekeeping.
