Rhoda Baxter

Rhoda Baxter writes contemporary women's fiction. She likes to write about people who make her laugh. In real life she did a DPhil in molecular microbiology at Oxford, which is why her pen-name sounds suspiciously like the name of a bacterium.

Her books have been shortlisted for awards - Girl On The Run (Joan Hessayon award), Please Release Me (Love Stories award), Girl Having A Ball (RoNA - best romantic comedy award) - and have been bestsellers on Amazon and Kobo. She has had articles featured on sites such as Smart Bitches Trashy Books and USA Today.

Rhoda is a member of the Authors North Committee at the Society of Authors and is also a member of the Romantic Novelists Association.

Her Royal Wedding romance, Christmas at the Palace, was published by Bonnier Zaffre in 2018. Her latest book, This Stolen Life, will be published by Hera Books in April 2019

She can be found wittering on about science, comedy and cake on her website (www.rhodabaxter.com) or on Twitter (@rhodabaxter) or Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/RhodaBaxterAuthor).
